It turned cold and we started kidding. We thought we were going to have lots of babies in November - None. We were expecting babies in December -none early. Ruth asked us if we wanted to three bottle babies whose mom died. We said yes and we had babies. Well it seems that those three bottle babies pull the plug on our other does. Five Dec 30th, two Dec 31st, eight Jan 1st, two Jan 2nd, five Jan 3rd, six Jan 4th, and five Jan 5th (33 kids - 18 moms). These are the result of normal breeding not Embryo Transfer. Cool Shot is the sire to all these kids. Eight degrees is not good for newborns; we lost some due to the extreme cold weather.
